Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on employment law, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the business with employee relations and complex employment terminations across different jurisdictions.
2. Review and draft employment contracts, policies, and employee handbooks.
3. Provide legal counsel on workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
4. Conduct internal investigations of employment-related legal complaints.
5. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including GDPR and data protection laws.
6. Identify and manage compliance risks; support audits and due diligence processes.
7. Perform other duties aligned with the role's purpose as required.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in law from an acknowledged European university.
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in employment law within an international company.
3. Strong understanding of European employment regulations, including GDPR.
4. Proficiency in legal research, document interpretation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
5. Excellent knowledge of Business, Contract Employment, Social Security Law, and data protection regulations.
6. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
7. Advanced command of legal English (reading, writing, speaking).
