Facade Site Manager | South / London | Full Time – Site based
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 4:00 am to 4:00 pm
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per year
Company Overview
Based in the South of England, our client is a specialist contractor with expertise in facade systems including rainscreen cladding, steel framing, external wall insulation, architectural metal work, brick slip systems, and remedial works.
Job Location
Ower, Hampshire. Candidates must be willing to travel to Southampton, Reading, or London depending on project location.
Role Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the installation of facade systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
2. Coordinate site activities and liaise with subcontractors.
3. Manage materials and ensure compliance with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and schedules.
4. Plan and organize site operations.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in facade or cladding projects.
* Strong knowledge of facade installation methods and materials.
* CSCS Black/Gold Card and SMSTS certification.
* Experience managing subcontractors and on-site labor.
* Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with site management software (e.g., RAKEN, Dropbox).
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise facade installation, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site logistics.
2. Ensure timely material delivery and site organization.
3. Conduct site inductions and ensure personnel compliance.
4. Develop and manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
5. Perform safety inspections and ensure PPE and equipment checks.
6. Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations (COSHH, Manual Handling, etc.).
7. Report accidents and incidents.
8. Track project progress and prepare weekly reports.
9. Maintain site documentation and diaries.
10. Manage labour and subcontractor coordination.
11. Coordinate with design teams, suppliers, and internal staff.
12. Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality control measures.
13. Inspect materials and manage snagging/NCRs.
14. Oversee project handover and documentation delivery.
15. Address quality issues during the project lifecycle.
16. Maintain project documentation in shared storage.
17. Handle admin duties like tracking consumables and ordering materials.
