Trinity House Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home, decorated and equipped to the highest standard. We provide Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for up to 55 residents, creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel truly at home.
We are now looking for a passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in preparing high-quality food that makes a real difference to residents’ daily lives — without the long hours and late-night shifts that often come with catering.

What You Will Do
As Cook, you will prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals to a high standard, ensuring residents enjoy food that is both comforting and well-balanced. You will work alongside the Head Chef to plan menus that reflect residents’ needs and preferences, while also supporting with stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining food safety records.
Beyond the food itself, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience that enhances residents’ wellbeing — from the quality of meals to the welcoming atmosphere at every mealtime.
What We’re Looking For
* A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality food
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
* Experience preparing meals for different dietary needs
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
* Ability to work independently and step up when the Head Chef is not available
* Previous experience in a care or catering environment is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
