Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely and values-based hiring across multiple care homes.
* Develop and implement effective retention strategies to support staff wellbeing and reduce turnover.
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including managing disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies, keeping up to date with legislative changes.
* Support managers with coaching and HR advice to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to audits and inspections as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in HR management, ideally within the healthcare or social care sector.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels.
* Experience handling recruitment and employee relations confidently and sensitively.
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
* No payroll duties required – this role focuses purely on strategic and operational HR.
