Job Title: Sales Executive – New Homes
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Package: Salary up to £30,000 – OTE £50,000+
A reputable and fast-growing housebuilder is preparing to launch a brand-new development of over 150 units in the Whitehaven area, and they are looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales Executive to take ownership of the site. The successful candidate will manage the site on a single-manned basis, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey from day one.
About the Role:
As the on-site Sales Executive, you will guide customers through the full homebuying process—from initial enquiry and demonstration to reservation, exchange and completion. You will act as the face of the development, providing five-star customer service and building strong relationships with buyers and internal teams alike.
Comprehensive training is provided, including support from a Senior Sales Executive during your first month and ongoing, and you will be able to start earning commission immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a five-star customer experience throughout the entire sales journey
* Meet, greet and guide customers, building rapport and understanding their needs
* Maintain strong product knowledge across all house types, pricing and specifications
* Present and maintain the sales centre and show home to an exceptional standard
* Conduct effective lead follow-up to convert enquiries into appointments and reservations
* Manage all sales administration and ensure compliance with internal processes
* Collaborate with build, marketing and wider sales teams
* Achieve monthly KPIs and sales targets
* Represent the development with professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail
Candidate Profile:
The business welcomes applications from:
* Estate agency backgrounds
* Customer-facing sales professionals (retail, automotive, hospitality, call centre, etc.)
* Candidates from outside the new homes sector with strong communication and service skills
* Success in this role is based heavily on attitude, personality and drive. Confidence, professionalism and the ability to work independently are essential.
Working Pattern:
Thursday – Monday
10:00am – 5:00pm
Salary & Package:
* Base Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
* OTE: Up to £50,000+
* Commission & Bonuses: £400 per plot (uncapped)
* £50 per NHBC survey
* Quarterly bonus: up to £3,000 per quarter
* Extras: 5% commission on upgrades/extras (uncapped)
* Mileage: First 20 miles not paid - 45p per mile thereafter
