This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.
Youll be the go-to HR presence on-site, working closely with operational teams while liaising with outsourced HR and legal providers.
Key Responsibilities Act as the on-site HR lead, supporting managers and employees across the business Liaise with outsourced HR and legal partners to ensure compliance and best practice Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations Support line managers with coaching and guidance on performance and people matters Oversee holiday and sickness tracking, ensuring accurate records and reporting Prepare and validate payroll data for submission to outsourced payroll providers Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives About You Proven experience in a generalist HR role (Advisor level or above) Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Confident handling employee relations issues independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment (logistics/warehouse experience desirable) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Qualifications (Desirable) CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) xxuwjjq Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field Whats on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 Annual performance-related bonus Opportunity to shape and influence HR on-site Exposure to a broad range of HR activities and projects Supportive and collaborative working environment If youre ready to take ownership of an on-site HR function and play a key role in supporting a growing logistics operation, this could be the perfect next step for you.
