Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of food according to established recipes and menus.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
* Collaborate with other staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist in training new staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
* Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Experience
* Some experience in a fast paced kitchen environment.
* A eye for detail with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a friendly team.
