About The Sponsorship Sales Executive (Media & Conference) Role
We're seeking an ambitious Media & Conference Sponsorship Sales Executive to drive revenue across our premium financial titles and conferences. Responsibilities include building relationships with key decision-makers in securities finance and asset servicing sectors, selling high-value sponsorship packages and advertising opportunities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales career within a respected financial media company, working with prestigious clients and attending industry-leading conferences worldwide.
What we are looking for in our Sponsorship Sales Executive (Media & Conference):
* Developing and managing a portfolio of sponsorship and advertising clients
* Selling conference sponsorship packages for industry events
* Building relationships with senior executives at financial services firms
* Meeting and exceeding revenue targets
* Attending conferences and networking events (UK and international travel required)
* Collaborating with editorial and marketing teams to deliver client solutions
* Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline
Skills And Experience
Essential
* Minimum 1 year sales experience with demonstrable success and targets achieved
* British passport (for international travel)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Genuine enthusiasm for travel — the role involves UK and international conference attendance
* Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
* Professional telephone manner and presentation skills
Desirable
* Previous experience in media sales, sponsorship, or B2B sales
* Knowledge of the financial services sector
* Experience with conference or event sales
* Understanding of digital marketing and advertising
* Strong computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems)
