About the Role
REED HR NI is partnering with a client based in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager. This pivotal role involves leading and managing the strategic and operational HR functions of the organization, fostering a positive people culture, and aligning HR activities with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate as an effective member of the Senior Team, engaging positively with staff to maximize resources and promote a coaching mentality across HR processes.
2. Manage the HR function to ensure the achievement of strategic and corporate plan objectives.
3. Collaborate with management to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent implementation.
6. Promote equality and diversity in all HR-related matters.
7. Manage HR risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and oversee health and safety management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
* Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of HR processes, legal compliance, and strategic thinking.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
* Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
