We Are Looking For
The Sales Executive (SE) is primarily responsible for promoting and selling aviation parts either from our inventory or through sourcing to satisfy customer request for quote (RFQ).
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
* Processing customer orders
* Prepare and issue customer quotations via email and telephone
* Selecting the correct stock in accordance with quotes raised and customer needs
* Liaising with the credit control department regarding account status, notifying them of any orders over $10,000
* Working with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery and that any cost savings are passed on to the customers
* Liaising with the purchasing team regarding lead times and updating customers with any changes in the order status
* Working with the rest of the sales team to achieve monthly KPI's
* Ensuring a high standard of customer service is achieved
* Building relationships with customers
* Ensuring incoming calls are answered promptly and redirected as necessary
* Providing customers with the technical information required
* Identifying opportunities to extend PDQ's support to new and existing customers
* Participate in continuous improvement opportunities, in particular suggesting changes to internal processes which will increase efficiency and/or the level of service to customers
* Any other related tasks as advised by a Supervisor, Manager, or Director
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
* 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Associate or Sales Executive
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to learn and work within company proprietary software
* Must be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software program
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure with accuracy
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
* Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor
* Multilingual is a plus
* Strong attention to detail
