Priory Hospital Avesbury House is looking to recruit a Resourcing & HR Administrator to join the team. This is a full-time 37.5 hours role.
Located near picturesque national parkland, Priory Hospital Avesbury House in Edmonton, North London, is a forensic low secure facility for men with mental health needs, who require continuing care and treatment. We have 24 beds which are fully funded by Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust (BEH) and specifically by the regional secure unit at Chase Farm Hospital.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
* Assists in the recruitment and selection of employees to the unit by providing administrative support to managers from advertising of the post through to the new employee taking up appointment and organising induction as directed. Carries out all pre- and post-employment checks to ensure recruitment is legal and safe and meets regulatory standards.
* Handles external and internal enquiries in relation to employment and conditions of service including administering company human resources policies and processes and maintaining records in line with statutory requirements.
* Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.
* Updates HR information system and local database systems for employment information with updates throughout employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of data input and reports on information, as needed. Liaises with other departments as needed.

What you'll bring to the role

The role holder should be educated to A level or equivalent and should have attained, or be willing to work towards, the Certificate in Personnel Practice (S/NVQ3). They must also possess excellent keyboard skills along with an intermediate level of proficiency in the standard range of office applications. In addition, experience of working within a human resources department is required.
