Your new role
This is a hands-on HR Manager role with full ownership of the HR function, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, working closely with finance and operational colleagues to deliver pragmatic,mercially sound people solutions.
Operating within a lean structure, this role offers a genuine mix of strategic influence and operational delivery. You will lead HR end to end, line manage and develop an HR Officer, and support managers across a multi-site workforce.
The organisation benefits from a stable HR environment, with low employee relations case volume, low absence and strong engagement. The focus is therefore on maintaining standards at scale, embedding consistency, developing management capability and supporting continued growth rather than firefighting.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and managing the HR function across the organisation
2. Acting as a trusted HR adviser to the Chief Executive and senior leadership team
3. Line managing and developing an HR Officer
4. Overseeing employee relations, policy,pliance and risk
5. Supporting ongoing recruitment activity across the business
6. Working closely with finance on payroll inputs and workforce data
7. Coaching managers to build confidence and capability in people management
8. Contributing to culture, engagement and organisational development initiatives
9. Ensuringpliance within a regulated operating environment
What you'll need to succeed
This role will suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys autonomy, visibility and ownership. You will befortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and confident operating as the go-to HR lead.
You will ideally have:
10. Experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist
11. Strong, broad HR generalist capability across ER, policy, recruitment andpliance
12. Experience working in amercial, performance-focused environment
13. Confidence operating within a lean structure with hands-on responsibility
14. The ability to build credible relationships with senior leaders and managers
15. A calm, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
Sector experience is not essential, and candidates from a range of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, provided they bring strong generalist HR experience andmercial awareness.
