Job Summary
The Role
This position requires a friendly, imaginative, and professional cook with experience of working ideally within a residential setting and with people who are recovering from drug and/or alcohol misuse.
The Passmores House service is a 23 bedded residential detoxification and rehabilitation unit. The post holder will be expected to take care of the kitchen and be responsible for food safety in accordance with local and national guidance. As a unit, we support a variety of nutritional and dietary needs so knowledge around catering for individual specifications would be a necessity.
Good communication skills are required and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of staff members. The post holder will be required to undergo mandatory training and to attend meetings as required. We offer regular supervision and annual appraisal. Personal and professional development is positively encouraged and courses are available for further learning and learning.
This new role is part time for 15 hours per week on a Saturday and Sunday with the opportunity of covering additional overtime on weekdays and or bank holidays as available.
