Welcoming nursing home committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for our residents. Our team works together to ensure a clean, safe, and nourishing environment, and we're currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our friendly kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparation of nutritious meals for residents, following dietary requirements.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including dish washing and surface sanitation.
· Order, receive and store deliveries according to food safety guidelines.
* Work as part of a team to ensure meals are served promptly and to a high standard.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
· Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus).
· A caring attitude and ability to work respectfully in a care environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
