Overview
SLC now have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Developer to join our Technology Group here at SLC. In this role you will work closely with developers, QAs and analysts and managers within an agile team to support delivery of change and improvements. You will also work with, in support of the Technical Design Lead, a number of internal stakeholders across architecture and wider technology teams. If you enjoy identifying issues within complex problems, speaking with stakeholders on different projects and supporting a culture of innovation, don't hesitate to apply for this role.

Knowledge and qualifications
* Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems
* Development approach, pair programming requires closely working with development team
* An understanding of server-side web applications and knowledge of more than one programming language (we use a range of languages including PL SQL, Java, Clojure, JavaScript & Ruby)
* Proficient Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Tools such as PVCS, Git, Jira and Confluence
* Experience of Oracle Forms and Reports
