Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee the crews for iKlean Group in both cleaning and waste management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supervisory and event management, with a keen ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is essential in ensuring that each event runs smoothly, meets client expectations, and enhances the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all cleaning and waste management operations across various events, including concerts, community gatherings, and festivals.
* Manage and coordinate all iKlean staff, ensuring efficient execution of cleaning and waste disposal tasks.
* Develop and maintain staff schedules, delegate tasks, and provide on-site supervision.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and event-specific requirements.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between event organisers and iKlean, addressing operational challenges and ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and waste disposal supplies.
* Conduct on-site inspections and implement process improvements as needed.
* Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced event environment.
* Uphold iKlean's high standards of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
Key Skills (with Training & Continual Support Provided):
* Staff Coordination & HR Liaison – Work with HR to ensure understanding of incoming staff roles, event requirements, and scheduling.
* Logistics & Resource Management – Ensure safe and secure transportation of consumables, uniforms, welfare, and administrative items from the depot to the site.
* Training & Compliance – Conduct inductions for site supervisors, health & safety, accreditation, and insurance-related requirements.
* Client Relationship Management – Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
* Budget & Staffing Management – Oversee staffing levels within pre-approved budgets and allocated event hours.
* Leadership & Motivation – Lead by example, inspiring and motivating the workforce to maintain high standards.
* Quality Control & Standards Enforcement – Conduct regular checks to uphold iKlean's high standards across all event areas.
* Payroll & Record-Keeping – Maintain accurate staff hour records for payroll reconciliation.
* Flexibility & Adaptability – Work in various locations, outdoors, and in all weather conditions.
* Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Address day-to-day challenges with a proactive, determined, and solutions-focused mindset.
* Continuous Improvement & Growth – Adapt to the evolving nature of the role, with additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Ongoing training and support will be provided to ensure continuous development and success in the role.

Pay: £25,647.77-£45,979.06 per year
