Role Summary
As an HR Manager you will lead and support a team of HR professionals to deliver a professional, proactive and comprehensive range of HR services across the organisation. You will support the team to provide advice and guidance on a full range of HR matters including recruitment, employee relations, policy and procedures, organisational change, workforce planning and will be skilled in managing several priorities and contributing to several projects at once.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a proactive and comprehensive range of HR services across the organisation.
* Provide advice and guidance on recruitment, employee relations, policy and procedures, organisational change, and workforce planning.
* Manage several priorities and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and NHS Scotland policies.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification at Masters level or a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification at level 7, and/or equivalent experience.
* Post‑qualification experience in a senior HR advisor or HR management role.
* Excellent IT skills and ability to travel to NHS Scotland sites.
* Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and NHS Scotland workforce policies.
* Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Employment Conditions
* Job Share – hours to be worked covering a Monday and a Friday.
* Hybrid working pattern available.
