We are currently recruiting for Quality Managers to support our various Siemens Mobility depots - Crawley, Northampton, Southampton and Manchester with the requirement to travel to other SMO locations as needed. The Quality Managers will lead and coordinate project quality of their assigned organizational unit ensuring the implementation of quality improvement methods and the improvement of process performance management. These roles will also focus on process and delivery quality, customer satisfaction, cost of quality and NCR's (Non-conformance reports), and will also be authorized and obliged to stop processes, projects and products that deviate from quality standards and requirements. You'll make a difference by Ensuring cross-functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and relevant suppliers to achieve quality business goals. Adapting and providing a project-specific management system including project documentation, regulations and methods, following a risk-based approach. Coaching project team members in agile/lean methods or even acts as a SCRUM master in agile projects, driving lessons learned across projects and ensuring that managers and employees have a quality-oriented mindset. Ensuring professional non-conformance (NC) management, the implementation of quality improvement methods and the improvement of process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, FMEA), and project quality reporting as integrated part of project reporting. Contributing to project planning to ensure that project-specific, quality-relevant requirements are considered starting with the sales phase and providing real-time transparency for ad-hoc and routine analysis, instant decision making, preventive action and continuous improvement. Initiating training for project employees with regards to quality (e.g. methods and processes) and ensuring sustainable KPI's, coordinating and leading functional teams to solve customer complaints. Developing, controlling and ensuring the implementation of a quality plan (including quality assurance measures such as review / test / validation) for the project derived from existing QM system agreed with the business, customer, partners and suppliers. Perform product, process or systems audit as appropriate to identify and eliminate risks, non-conformance and non-value adding costs by having site responsibility for internal audit of Business Management Systems (ISO9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, RISQS) and taking the lead on all external audits of the fleet / site. Your success will be grounded by: A degree or equivalent in an Engineering, Operations or Quality Related topic Working experience in Lean Methods and Approaches in a project related industry. Experience and qualified for internal auditing to ISO standards. Ability to interface, work with and influence colleagues across the full spectrum of the fleet from Technicians to Fleet Delivery Manager Experience of working in an advanced quality / safety critical manufacturing environment: automotive, aero, pharma, explosive atmosphere etc with practical experience of APQP style processes. Profound knowledge of core quality methods like FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why and Value Stream Management.
