This position is for the Child and Youth Program Flight at RAF Lakenheath, UK.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guarantee.
Performs a full range of cooking task that adheres to AF and USDA child food codes. Performs duties which include, but are not limited to, the following: roasts, broils, bakes, steams and stews meats, fish and poultry. Follows USDA, DoD regulations/instructions and local guidance for menu planning, food preparation, food storage, kitchen sanitation and cleanliness. Conducts and documents health and sanitation inspections. Responsible for food program inventory control, ordering and payments. Prepares food program budget for management approval.
