Job Overview
We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team for shifts between Tuesday to Saturday, 8am–4pm. You'll be helping prepare and cook our popular breakfast and lunch menu—not baking croissants, (although the opportunity to learn is avaible) but building beautiful plates, grilling, frying, chopping, and bringing great food to life. If you've got a love for good food and a willingness to learn, we can teach you the rest.
What You'll Do
* Help prepare and cook savoury dishes for our breakfast and lunch service.
* Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
* Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly.
* Work safely and hygienically (training provided if needed).
* Assist with food prep such as chopping, portioning, marinating, and cooking to order.
* Support your team to deliver a smooth, efficient service—especially during the busy brunch rush.
* Pitch in with set-up, cleaning, and closing duties.
What We're Looking For
* Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential—we'll teach the right person.
* A good attitude, reliability, and willingness to muck in.
* Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
* An interest in food and a bit of pride in your work.
* Team spirit and a sense of humour—we like to keep things fun as well as focused.
