This is an exciting opportunity to join at a time when we plan to develop our central HR function further, to provide efficient and effective services. We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated HR professional who will be pivotal to creating a professionally fulfilled, motivated and empowered staff.
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in delivering on key HR priorities through the development and deployment of People and Culture interventions focused on attracting and retaining talent and supporting our workforce to flourish. The postholder will work effectively with various stakeholders across the central team and with Trade Union Partners to implement impactful HR initiatives. They will support the Chief People Officer in the future development of the HR functions.
This role supports both strategic and operational HR decisions. The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional capable of achieving our vision through excellent HR service provision, advising leaders on complex HR issues, and leading HR-related projects to drive organizational change and improvement.
Key qualities include confident communication, experience across all HR delivery aspects, leadership in HR projects, calmness, organization, professionalism under deadlines, and adaptability. The postholder will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining positive relationships and promoting organizational vision and well-being. Responsibilities include managing the full employee lifecycle, providing HR advice and support, developing policies, ensuring legislative compliance, and managing risks. They will also line manage HR Advisors and lead HR activities as assigned.
