To provide maintenance services, in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
Complete weekly and monthly audits, fire checks, healthy and safety checks ,, complete work that IS required in the home ,
To action both planned and reactive maintenance issues to priorities in terms of urgency
Location: Morton Manor, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.
Working Hours: 30 hours
Role Specific Duties:
Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance implementation and delivery
Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise Ensure the residents' rights are protected
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
Working with Others:
Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within Morton Manor
Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance programme
Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees

Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Personal Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
To maintain maintenance skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required in order to maintain up to date knowledge
