Role Accountabilities
Generate new business sales within specific industry sectors from both existing and potential clients.
* Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell the full range of CSG services in line with current marketing campaigns.
* Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally via telephone, email and other communication channels.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, developing your own portfolio of clients and account managing key accounts where required.
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
* Research potential clients and markets to ensure CSG solutions are tailored to customer needs.
* Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Field Sales, Tendering and Sewage Telesales teams to maximise sales opportunities and act on leads.
* Ensure all sales activity, customer interactions and opportunities are accurately recorded on the CRM system and administration is completed on time.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrating CSG performance behaviours and excellent customer service.
* Comply with Group Health & Safety policies and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Qualifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with customers via phone and email
* Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and performance indicators
* Ability to identify opportunities and proactively suggest ideas or solutions
* Strong listening and relationship-building skills
* Good IT skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and team objectives
* Motivated, proactive and eager to develop a career in sales
