We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join a busy and supportive team on a job-share basis. This is a varied role where you'll be providing HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and assisting the leadership team with day-to-day HR administration. This opportunity would suit an HR Officer who enjoys being a trusted point of contact for employees and management alike, and who is looking for a part-time position that still offers variety and responsibility.
Responsibilities
* Administer HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and meeting correspondence.
* Support recruitment processes - setting up interviews, assisting with selection, and issuing correspondence.
* Carry out new starter inductions and maintain up-to-date personnel files.
* Provide HR administration for the Directors, including absence management, payroll queries, and employee relations support.
* Liaise with external HR consultants and ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
* Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings, acting as a minute taker.
* Monitor and maintain records such as sickness, absence, HR forms, maternity/paternity leave, and pensions.
* Assist with HR systems, reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role (essential).
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
* CIPD qualification is not required, but solid HR Officer experience is essential.
