The Buckingham School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Return to Learning Mentor. The successful candidate will be working closely with our Inclusion Team, including the Heads of Year, encouraging students to reach their full potential and supporting them to reflect on their attitude to learning.
The Return to Learning Mentor is a key role within the core of the school, integral to upholding and ensuring students acquire these and develop as global citizens and well-rounded individuals. The role exists to support students at a variety of levels including behaviour, welfare and student wellbeing.
You will be based in the Head of Year Office, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Academic achievement lies at the heart of what the school does, but we never forget the importance of fostering our Virtues in our students. Some students need the support of the Inclusion Team, before they are ready to learn. We strive for Success for All.
