Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to join a leading, award-winning construction business delivering major public sector projects across South Wales?
We are recruiting for a skilled and well-rounded Construction Site Manager to lead works on a significant Ministry of Justice (MOJ) new build and refurbishment scheme near Pontypool. Following the successful delivery of this project (approx. 6 months), you will transition onto an even larger flagship build scheme near Bridgend.

The Role – Site Manager (Construction)
·Oversee day-to-day site operations on a major MOJ build and refurbishment project
·Manage subcontractors, site teams, and programme delivery
·Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
·Maintain high standards of quality control and compliance
·Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, and clients
·Lead site meetings and drive programme performance
·Ensure full adherence to HSE and regulatory requirements
Following the initial project near Pontypool, you will move onto a large-scale construction project near Bridgend, offering continuity and career progression.
About You
To be successful in this Site Manager role, you will have:
·Proven experience as a Site Manager within the main contracting environment
·Strong all-round build background (new build & refurbishment experience preferred)
·Experience delivering medium to large-scale construction projects
·Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
·A proactive and solutions-focused approach
·SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid (essential)
Experience working on public sector or secure environment projects (e.g., MOJ, healthcare, education, defence) would be advantageous.
