Sales Executive Location: Dublin (Office-based) Salary: Up to €52,000 basic commission (OTE €61,000) Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Company Overview Our client was established in 2012 by an engineering graduate with experience in the lintel industry. The company was founded to meet a clear need in the Irish market for a specialist stockiest capable of designing and manufacturing bespoke lintels. Their core focus is delivering high-quality products within the tight timelines required by the Irish construction sector. They are the sole importer of Catnic Lintels in Ireland and hold a comprehensive range of standard Catnic products in stock. Bespoke lintels are designed in-house and manufactured in Forkhill, Co. Down. Role Overview The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and supporting sales growth across the Republic of Ireland. While this is a sales-focused role, it is primarily office-based, with occasional customer meetings and site visits as required. This structure reflects the high proportion of work conducted within a 30-mile radius of the office and supports the companys operational needs, particularly following changes within the current sales team. Key Responsibilities Generate new sales leads and develop a strong pipeline of clients Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers Understand and promote both bespoke lintel solutions and standard Catnic products Prepare accurate quotations based on client requirements Liaise with internal technical and manufacturing teams to gather specifications Ensure all quotations align with pricing structures, margins, and commercial policies Maintain accurate records of pricing, quotations, and customer interactions Follow up on quotations and manage ongoing client communication Identify and resolve missing or inconsistent information in customer requests Support the Sales Manager with pipeline reporting and sales forecasting Maintain and update pricing and product databases Requirements Essentia 45 years experience in sales or business development within Construction, Builders Merchants, Engineering, or a related sector Strong ability to price jobs accurately and commercially Proven track record in winning new business and managing client relationships Proactive approach to lead generation and pipeline development Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Strong attention to detail and customer service focus Professional communication skills (phone, email, and in-person) Desirable Ability to quickly integrate into a fast-paced sales environment and deliver immediate impact Experience working with technical or engineered construction products Strong understanding of margin control and commercial pricing structures Salary & Benefits Basic salary: Up to €52,000 Commission (tiered structure): €0 €50,000 monthly sales: 1% €50,001 €75,000: 1.5% €75,001 €100,000: 2% OTE: €61,080 Company vehicle, fuel card, and expenses provided Hybrid working approach (primarily office-based with site/customer visits) Free or subsidised travel Monthly office collaboration and planning sessions Whats Next?
