Byrne Resourcing are partnering with a Wimbledon based, highly successful and growing professional services firm to appoint a Head of People. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a first-class generalist HR service that will assist the firm as it continues to expand and further develop its client service offering. This is a standalone HR role where the successful candidate will be required to work independently and hit the ground running. The HR Manager will sit on the Executive Management Team (EMT) and collaborate closely with colleagues across operations and client services. Central to the candidates success will be the ability to drive a culture that is consistent with the firms collaborative, independent and team orientated ethos, whilst providing a highly commercial and pragmatic HR service. Supporting a business of c60 employees, the successful candidate should be prepared to roll their sleeves up and contribute at both a strategic and tactical level on a day-to-day basis. Key accountabilities: Provide a broad generalist HR service across the business, offering day to day HR solutions and advice. Drive forward a people strategy that will play a critical role in the continued growth and sustainability of the business. Further develop and deliver the recruitment proposition for all levels of hiring and build a talent pipeline based on the current and future business needs. Increase employee engagement and maintain the firms culture and core values. Advise and assist in the investigation and resolution of employee relations conflicts and develop and implement consistent processes and procedures to reduce risk. Coordinate and deliver the annual performance review and develop progression pathways. Co-ordinate bonus and salary reviews. Maintain first class HR administration and governance services across the group. Design, develop and communicate robust HR policies and procedures, ensuring high levels of governance and compliance. Develop and sustain a highly diverse and inclusive culture, making the firm a destination of choice for diverse talent.
