As Head of People and Culture, you'll be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), driving the strategic people and culture strategy in line with our purpose of creating better places for everyone, every day.
You will work closely with senior leaders to drive change and support growth and financial sustainability across the business.

This role leads the People and Culture function with responsibility across employment law, recruitment, people relations, and development & wellbeing, ensuring our values are embedded throughout the colleague lifecycle.

You'll also play a pivotal role in shaping an environment that attracts, retains, and develops talent, while upholding our commitment to ESG and sustainable business practices.

Reporting line: Reports to the Chief People and Culture Officer and has direct reports including People Lead and Development & Wellbeing (D&W) Lead.

Key responsibilities:
Lead and execute the company's People and Culture strategy, aligned with business objectives and informed by people data and metrics.
Partner with the Chief People and Culture Officer and SLT to deliver strategic people initiatives that support business growth, engagement, and long-term sustainability.
Champion the integration of our core values—caring, respect, making a difference, personal service, lasting relationships, and sustainability—across all people processes.
Lead and develop the People and Culture team, building a supportive, inclusive and high-performing culture within the function.
Drive leadership development, colleague engagement, progression and succession planning across the business.
Oversee Development & Wellbeing programmes that improve colleague satisfaction, performance and retention, including mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
Lead on complex people relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency and trust.
Embed ESG principles into people strategy, policies and practices, and support continuous improvement in ESG culture, risks and indicators.
Ensure strong HR operational excellence through robust policies, systems, compliance, and KPI-driven improvement.
