Job Description
Join the thriving and dynamic United Living Property Services business! We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 6 month fix term contract.
5. To be responsible for the Supervision and overseeing the direction of all jobs, from commencement to completion; ensuring that the Clients specification and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with Commercial Support to ensure all costs captured and ensure all works are carried out safely.
6. Attend Validation Inspections to scope up works based on Clients Specification
7. Ensure daily review of Total Mobile Dashboard to manage job workflow; respond to Client questions and queries within a timely manner; and ensure all notes pertaining to each job have been recorded on TM accurately.
8. Liaising with Admin and Commercial staff; the Client when required, and sometimes the Resident or members of the public
9. Report to the Project Manager when required regarding WIP and completions.
10. Coordinate and supervise supply chain to ensure timely start and completion dates and ensure these are updated onto Total Mobile.
11. Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety.
12. Create a Health and Safety File for each job ensuring all documentation is reviewed and amended PRIOR to each job commencement.
13. Attend Post Inspection for every job to ensure snags are completed and quality is at the standard expected.
14. Checking job specifications, designs and drawings to ensure compliance on site.
15. Anticipating problems and finding way to prevent problems from happening and to solve any that crop up.
16. Assessing and minimising risk by ensuring all United Living H&S policies and procedures and implemented and adhered to
17. Maintaining Quality Control of supply chain
18. Attend occasional Client meetings, at Project Managers request.
Experience within a similar role
Knowledge and experience of Disrepairs Workstream
19. Strong experience of working within a fast moving environment delivering a high quality and robust delivery service
20. Experience of working with supply chain delivery model
21. Able to demonstrate commercial acumen
22. Experience of site health and safety good practice
23. Experience of working within a customer facing environment
24. Knowledge and understanding of working within financial
25. regulations; data protection; freedom of information and waste management
26. Proficient in the use of Total Mobile and Microsoft office applications (outlook; excel and word)
27. Able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of equality issues
28. Able to read and understand instructions, technical reports and designs, and follow company procedures
29. Ability to work without direct supervision dealing with emergencies and difficult situations in a calm and effective manner; be well organised and prioritise own workload
30. Able to develop and present written information in a clear and concise manner
