Location: Bristol - Filton
Reports to: Project Manager
Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects at various Rolls-Royce sites. Ensure project delivery meets Integral & Rolls-Royce standards regarding safety, quality, and programme, while complying as a Principle Contractor with current CDM legislation, including MS18 and CSO6 standards. Qualifications in a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, or roofing are required.
What You Will Be Doing
* Provide health and safety leadership, promote behavioural safety, and conduct regular site audits.
* Support risk management and ensure effective controls for safe, timely project delivery.
* Identify and support project opportunities to improve performance.
* Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to enhance the company's reputation.
* Report KPIs, near misses, accidents, and incidents in accordance with company procedures.
* Ensure all workers and suppliers adhere to safety, quality, and engineering standards.
* Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings.
* Maintain accurate records of work and expenditure.
* Coordinate site activities and issue permits in compliance with CDM and CSO6.
* Work with the Project Manager to ensure work complies with project documentation and standards.
* Lead the team to meet and exceed project performance targets, ensuring high standards and defect-free completion.
What We Will Need From You
* Proven supervisory/site management experience.
* Experience with external construction, groundworks, steel framing, cladding, and drainage.
* Experience working in occupied buildings (highly desirable).
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Understanding of customer business requirements.
* Construction-related qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
* Certifications: SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS, First Aid.
* Proficiency with MS Office and quality assurance software like Fieldview.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable, with leadership qualities.
