Interim Employment Counsel
A global financial services business is seeking an experienced employment and compensation lawyer to join its EMEA Legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of employment law and compensation & benefits matters in a complex, multinational environment.
You will act as the primary legal point of contact for UK compensation and benefits issues, as well as providing legal support on restructuring, TUPE, regulatory requirements, and employee relations across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a confident communicator with a proactive mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently within a fast-paced legal function.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on employment, compensation, and benefits legal issues across EMEA
* Supporting on TUPE, M&A, and outsourcing transactions
* Drafting and negotiating incentive plans, separation agreements, and employment contracts
* Advising on UK/EU compensation regulations and pensions law matters
* Collaborating closely with HR, business stakeholders, and external counsel
We are seeking lawyers with 3–10 years’ PQE and solid experience in employment law and compensation & benefits. In-house or financial services experience is preferred but not essential. If you’re available for interim opportunities and meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you.
