About the Role
The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS.
We are looking for a motivated HR Officer to join our small HR team, working two days each week at our Coventry office and three days working from home.
This is a fantastic chance to work within a busy HR environment, acting as the first point of contact for all recruitment and HR queries. You will be the “face” of the department, providing essential support to our staff and helping the team deliver a seamless service across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all recruitment and HR queries, serving as the “face” of the department.
* Provide recruitment services to managers, including daily liaison with the outsourced HR transactional function, leading recruitment conversations and administering the TRAC system.
* Evaluate and analyse recruitment data and recommend improvements in approaches.
* Provide advice and answer HR queries using judgement, seek guidance from the HR Business Partner as needed and follow up on actions in a timely manner.
* Plan and coordinate meetings and prepare papers for HR matters such as disciplinary hearings, capability meetings and sickness reviews.
* Prioritise tasks and workload to meet deadlines and targets.
* Administer review and update HR policies and procedures.
* Provide administration services for HR programmes or projects.
* Review, analyse and interpret information on HR matters and make recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience administering recruitment processes and understanding the stages of the employee life cycle.
* Experience contributing to HR initiatives and projects.
* Experience with the TRAC system is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small HR team.
