Infrastructure Technical Business Developer, Global Connectivity and Network Availability
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access for our customers. We work on challenging problems with many variables impacting the supply chain and seek talented individuals to help us.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Your role involves collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards while providing extensive capacity at low costs. Key responsibilities
* Serve as a subject matter expert on “eyeball” IP networks within your region.
* Organize, track, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver new IP interconnect capacity.
* Develop interconnect capacity plans for scalable delivery of Amazon content.
* Establish peering with partner networks at new interconnect facilities globally and work with network operations to upgrade connections.
* Negotiate with external network providers to improve interconnection relationships.
* Collaborate with business development, legal, and deployment teams to implement strategic plans.
* Travel frequently for site visits and team meetings.

Minimum qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
* 5+ years of professional or military experience.
* Experience influencing organizational decision-making with strategies.
* Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating schedules.
* Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations.
* Experience in negotiating complex legal agreements.
