Job Purpose

The Hospitality Sales Executive plays a key role within the Sales and Marketing Department, reporting to the Head of Hospitality. This position is responsible for driving and supporting all aspects of hospitality sales while delivering outstanding customer service to clients. The role involves managing inbound and outbound sales activity, maintaining accurate records in the venue’s ticketing and sales databases, and proactively sourcing new business opportunities through networking, research, and social media.

The Hospitality Sales Executive will collaborate closely with departments such as Operations, Finance, Coordination, and Marketing to ensure seamless booking processes, accurate reporting, and excellent client experiences. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and numerical skills, along with a proactive attitude toward achieving and exceeding sales targets and developing new business opportunities for hospitality revenue growth.


Role Specification

Sales

* To answer incoming calls and emails and respond accurately with attention to detail.
* Ensure the sales process is followed for all bookings using the venue’s ticketing system.
* Ensure the sales database is accurate and updated with new booking information and existing customer information.
* Pro-active outbound sales to target audiences of existing data, cold calling and networking of new leads.
* Research, source and create new sales opportunities through social media, networking and data insight to drive maximum revenues for the department

Reporting

* Provide sales/activity reports for Head of Hospitality.
* Providing information to the Operational department.
* Liaise with the Finance department to ensure bookings for invoice are completed accurately.
* Liaise with the Co-ordination and Marketing departments to provide accurate sales numbers and breakdowns.

Customer Service

* Ensure the ticketing system is accurate and invoices are paid off as per instruction from finance department.
* Manage Internal requests, ensuring appropriate sign-off and procedures are followed.
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients have a point of contact for any queries.

General

* Achieve and exceed sales targets and other key performance indicators, including developing new customers and growth of existing client base, for all hospitality ticketing products.
* Develop new business ideas to support future growth for hospitality revenue.
* Support the Co-ordination team subject to workload.
* Support the Ticketing Team subject to workload.


Qualifications/ Experience

* Experience and diplomacy in dealing with the public.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* High level of numeracy.
* Computer literate, experience of using Microsoft excel
* Understanding of venue ticketing systems (preferred not essential)
