What the job covers:
Formulation, ownership and delivery of all HR strategies in liaison with the APAC Partnership and
Group Chief People Officer.
Reporting and Communication Structure
4. The Head of People APAC reports to the Group Chief People Officer and has a dotted line to the Managing Director APAC.
5. The Head of People APAC supervises the Senior TA Specialist.
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy, Leadership and Coordination
6. Develop a strategic approach to human resources and the execution of these strategies.
7. Lead and support on a continuous change agenda advising on people decisions to drive effectiveness.
8. Ensure that HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making.
9. Work with the regional leadership to develop appropriate human resource policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of employees throughout the organization.
10. Provide advice, information and support Company’s Management, line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures in line with best practice.
11. Focus on the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
12. Prepare reports for management in relation to employee turnover; new hires; resignations; training and development etc.
13. Manage all employee relations policy & process in-line with local & regional legislation.
Talent Management & Retention
14. Executes talent, retention and succession planning initiatives in alignment with global teams.
15. Working with the regional and global HR team on Greenpark’s talent management strategy and the annual talent review process.
16. Support, communicate and advise senior management on their talent development initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
17. Manage the regional payroll process & execution alongside Finance.
18. Work closely with finance partners to onboard all contractor's payment information, terms and schedules.
19. Stay up to date with the current compensation and benefits trend around Asia Pacific region and liaise with the Head of TA APAC on the annual salary benchmarking process.
20. Manage & oversee the benefits & perks on/offboarding for all employees and keep on top of trends regarding benefits & perks, making necessary suggestions for change as you see fit.
Training and development
21. Works in line with Greenpark regional/global resources to promote and arrange delivery of
training that is directly relevant and beneficial to the operations.
22. Manage the annual training and development plan and budget and ensure that all individual
training plans are followed up.
Performance Management
23. Coordinate the performance management of employees of the Company including appraisals
and promotions.
24. Implement performance appraisals, training and feedback across the Company in line with regional/global HR standards using the new automated appraisal process via BambooHR.
25. Training line managers regionally on best practice and how to use the new performance management tool to appraise, collect and deliver feedback.
26. Drive best practice and act as counsel to management on all issues of employee performance.
Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB)
27. Alongside the Global Head of HR and regional HR & TA leads, lead on the strategy and roll-out
of DIB initiatives and best practice.
Legal and Compliance Practices
28. Ensure up to date employment policy in line with local Government, Greenpark policy and best
practice standards.
29. Continual policy and process development, amending and implementing policies and procedures in line with Greenpark benchmarks and employment law regulation.
30. Keep abreast of all trends and changes to employment legislation.
