About the Role
REED HR NI is partnering with a client based in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager who will lead and manage the strategic and operational HR functions of the organization. This pivotal role involves fostering a positive people culture, aligning HR activities with strategic goals, and acting as an enabler for organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, engaging positively with staff to maximize resources and promote a coaching mentality across HR processes.
2. Manage the HR function to achieve objectives outlined in strategic and corporate plans.
3. Collaborate with management to implement corporate strategies and business plans.
4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent implementation.
6. Promote equality and diversity in HR-related matters.
7. Manage HR-related risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead health and safety management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
2. Proven HR management experience, preferably in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of HR processes, legal compliance, and strategic thinking.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
6. Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
7. Proficiency with HR systems and databases.
