About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced SMSTS site manager to join their team on a major power plant project based in Friston. This is a long-term contract offering a great opportunity to work on a high-profile, energy‑sector development.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining smooth day‑to‑day site operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily site activities
* Ensure health & safety compliance in line with SMSTS requirements
* Liaise with site managers, contractors, and trades teams
* Monitor and report on site progress
* Assist in site inductions, toolbox talks, and method statements
* Maintain site records and ensure adherence to company standards
Requirements
* âś… Valid SMSTS certification
* âś… Previous foreman experience on construction or power/energy sector projects
* âś… Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
* âś… Excellent communication and leadership skills
* âś… BLACK CSCS card (desirable)
* âś… First Aid at Work
