At Thomas Bennett Community College we are currently looking for a Learning Mentor to work along side our Pastoral team. The key purpose of this role is to provide guidance and welfare across the school, by supporting staff to ensure that the personal, behaviour and academic needs of all students are met and to support students in their progress and attainment.
What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for a candidate who can:
* Work closely with the Year Team Leader, senior leader- Behaviour and the Inclusion team as a whole, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team ethos with a shared vision
* Demonstrate high expectations of students, a commitment to professional learning and continuous development
* Support the Year Team Lead in ensuring high standards of provision which maximise the progress and achievement of all students
* Provide high quality guidance in order to remove barriers to student learning from within the school, taking responsibility for a year group
* Monitor, review and evaluate intervention programmes with Year team leader and Progress leader
