Location: Outskirts of Burton on Trent/Derby
Our client is a highly successful, privately owned transport and distribution company. They are currently looking to appoint an HR Support Officer to complement their existing HR department. In this role, you will be focusing on the recruitment requirements for the business. In addition to supporting the wider HR Team.
Day to day duties will include:
* Participate in recruitment ensuring adherence to legislation
* Liaising with hiring managers
* Delivery of inductions and on-boarding
* Raising contracts for new starters
* Identifying training requirements
* Maintenance of files in line with legislation
* Processing of doctor's notes, return to work, DBS checks, etc
* Liaison with payroll
* Maintaining changes to holidays and sickness
* Document management
* Managing incoming calls and queries
* Ad hoc duties as may be required
In order to fulfil this role, candidates should have previous experience of working with HR/Recruitment along with an ability to prioritise a busy and demanding workload. You should also be looking for a role whereby you can build on your existing expertise and be a confident communicator.
