Overview
Employment Lawyer – In-House - London. Our client is a world-class leading law firm with over 5000 employees across 30 offices in 20 countries. The firm is known for its corporate and financial services expertise and serves many world-leading companies. This role is for a senior employment lawyer to join the in-house team and work closely with the Head of Employee Relations.
This is an important and influential role requiring collaboration with senior stakeholders on complex and confidential matters.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert UK employment law advice on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
* Handle complaints, grievances, claims, TUPE, and contribute to policy frameworks.
* Directly engage with key senior individuals in the business and act as a trusted advisor within the wider HR team.
* Foster trust and credibility at all levels; manage priorities to meet deadlines in a busy workload.
* Collaborate with the Head of Employee Relations and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with at least 6 years PQE.
* Private practice experience at a leading law firm; in-house experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law; capable of advising on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
