Sales Executive - Hospitality Technology

North East / Hybrid (2 days per week in Newcastle office)

£30,000-£40,000 basic | £60,000 OTE (uncapped)

At BMS, we've been exclusively engaged by a rapidly growing hospitality technology business to recruit a Sales Executive. This is a full-cycle closing role within a company investing heavily in sales growth, marketing, and product expansion following a successful restructure.

The Company

Our client is an established hospitality technology provider with nearly 30 years in the market, supplying POS and payments software all corners of the sector, including aspirational independents all the way up to some of the most exciting and recognisable brands like Five Guys, Brewdog and Dishoom.

Their platform supports in-store and online payments, helping hospitality businesses improve efficiency, visibility, and customer experience. The business has grown by partnering with leading global payment technology providers and now works with well-known UK hospitality brands across casual dining, QSR, and leisure.

With multiple new hires planned this year and further product launches ahead, the company is entering an exciting growth phase while retaining the stability of a long-established organisation.

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for closing new business opportunities across the UK hospitality market.

Own the full sales cycle from qualified lead through to close.

4. Sell POS and payments software to independent operators and small hospitality groups.
5. Work with inbound marketing leads, web enquiries, events, and self-generated pipeline.
6. Deliver remote demos and manage a fast-paced, price-sensitive sales process.
7. Typical deals combine software licence and recurring card revenue.
8. Short sales cycles (sub-2 weeks on average, up to 1 month).

This is a predominantly virtual sales role, that will require the successful candidate to work from a new, Newcastle office twice a week.

The Candidate

We're looking for a resilient, personable salesperson who has:

9. B2B sales experience (hospitality or retail tech highly desirable).
10. Exposure to POS, payments, or software-led solutions (preferred, not essential).
11. Confidence and personality
12. A thick skin and strong work ethic
13. Natural rapport-building skills.
14. The drive to progress into more complex mid-market or enterprise sales over time.

The Package

15. Basic Salary: £30,000-£40,000
16. OTE: £60,000 (uncapped)
17. Commission: Paid monthly

22. Travel expenses covered
23. Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week office-based)
24. Territory: UK-wide
