Site Manager – Structural Steel
Location: London
Employment Type: Full-time
I’m looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established structural steelwork company based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate day-to-day site operations
* Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients
* Monitor progress, manage schedules, and ensure deadlines are met
* Conduct regular site inspections and report on quality and compliance
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Site Manager within the structural steel industry
* Strong knowledge of all site operations and safety procedures
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple teams across different sites
Mandatory Certifications:
* SMSTS certificate
* CSCS card (or equivalent)
* Safety at Heights / Harness Certificate
* CPCS card (Slinger/Signaller)
* IPAF MEWP PAL+ Operators Licence
* Competency in use and changing of Abrasive Wheels
* Alloy Towers Certificate
* Full UK Driving Licence
