Job Introduction

If you are passionate about what we do at Gleeson and are considering a new challenge, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team. You will manage the onsite team, work with external partners and subcontractors, and collaborate with our onsite Sales team.

Main Responsibilities
* Manage the development to maintain and deliver the build programme within budgets and forecasts, ensuring the final product meets Gleeson Homes standards.
* Full responsibility for all site staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Liaise with head office, NHBC, Health and Safety, and Local Authority departments.
* Order materials timely to achieve the build programme.
* Ensure all NHBC inspections are completed as required.
* Conduct handover inspections of properties according to customer care procedures.
* Address customer care defects promptly in collaboration with the customer care team.
* Promote safety, progress, quality, and innovation on site.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Site Manager on high-volume new build housing developments. Extensive knowledge and experience managing labour-only groundworkers and contractors are essential.
* Full UK driving license.
* Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
* Experience in meeting customer service requirements.
* Knowledge of relevant codes of practice (e.g., NHBC, Building Regulations).
* Ability to use Zutec and Digital Plot Books; experience with Zutec preferred but training can be provided.

* Scaffolding/Scaffold Inspection Certification
