Salary: £90–£105 per day
A specialist provision in Shrewsbury is seeking a resilient, experienced Learning Mentor to support pupils with SEMH and complex behavioural needs. This is a full-time role starting in September, working closely with the pastoral and safeguarding team.
What to expect:
* Building strong relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma
* Supporting re-engagement in learning through emotional regulation and tailored interventions
* Working with teachers, parents, and therapists to create individual support strategies
* Creating a consistent, calm presence in class and during transitions
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with PRU, SEMH, or behaviour support experience to join a provision with a strong, supportive ethos.
To be successful, you’ll need excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and confidence managing challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
