Overview
The Microsoft 365 Developer / Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that automate business processes and integrate Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems.
You’ll play a key role in supporting digital transformation initiatives, ensuring our tools are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
This is a hybrid role (40% remote, 60% office) and may be based from one of our offices in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, or Norwich, with occasional travel as required.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Integrate Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems.
* Maintain and enhance existing solutions to improve performance and user experience.
* Provide technical support and training to end-users.
* Ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.
* Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph.
* Develop custom applications and workflows to automate business processes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365 services.
* Document solutions, processes, and user guides.
* Stay current with Microsoft 365 developments and recommend improvements.
You will have
* Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph.
* Experience with Microsoft 365 services and tools.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or PowerShell.
* Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
* Understanding of data modelling and database design.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
* Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Dynamics 365, or Teams.
* Essential to understand SharePoint site architecture, content types, lists/libraries, and permissions.
* Experience using SharePoint Online Admin Centre to configure settings and best practices for performance and information security governance.
* Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Platform, Teams, and external data sources.
* Familiarity with PnP PowerShell for SharePoint Online would be a bonus.
* Knowledge of security and compliance best practices within the Microsoft 365 environment.
