Our Client is a small to medium sized Civil Engineering Main Contractor working predominantly within the rail sector and they are offering an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager. They are looking for a candidate that will be able to work successfully as part of a team and positively contribute to the everyday Site requirements of the business.
Job Description:
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
•To be responsible for the day to day control of all HSQE matters on the appointed site(s).
•Supervision of site labour and any sub-contractors to ensure efficient working always.
•Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed.
•Continued and specific liaison with the client on all project matters.
•Progress monitoring & reporting.
•Assess costs, arrange materials and equipment in a timely manner.
•Identify any problems/delays/additional works as soon as possible.
•Be responsible for the setup of the construction site.
•Consult the Health and Safety Advisor if you have any concerns or positive feedback about the safety performance.
•Be accountable to the Managing Director
•Implementation and completion of site QA plan
