HR Manager – Start Up Opportunity
Are you a hands-on HR Generalist who loves building structure, shaping culture, and making a real impact? Our client is a fast-growing business entering an exciting phase of expansion, and we’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to create and lead a fit-for-purpose HR function from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing
As HR Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for all things people-related. Your role will be varied and practical, centred around building robust HR foundations while supporting a busy, operational workforce. You’ll:
* Design, implement, and run a full HR function for a growing organisation
* Lead high-volume recruitment for operational/security-based roles
* Support managers with day-to-day employee relations matters
* (grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, performance, etc.)
* Develop HR policies, procedures, and best-practice processes
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industry standards
* Build positive working relationships across the business
* Provide guidance, coaching, and support to managers at all levels
* Champion a healthy, fair, and engaging workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
* A strong HR Generalist background with broad operational HR experience
* Comfortable working in a standalone or newly created HR role
* Confident handling recruitment end-to-end, especially high-volume hiring
* Experience with employee relations cases, HR policies, and workforce processes
* Hands-on, proactive, and able to bring structure to a fast-moving environment
* A practical, solutions-focused approach (no ivory towers!)
* Ability to build trust and work with frontline teams, supervisors, and leadership
