The successful candidate will accompany a bus driver at school collections 2pm and 3pm and work as part of a small team to supervise, interact and help with all aspects of our Out of Schools Club. We are open full days 8:30am-5:30pm when our team of staff may work 2-4 days each week (based on preference).
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will help set up a safe, caring environment for children.
* The successful candidate will interact with children in their care and carry out planned activities to meet our summer. programme of events
* The successful candidate will communicate effectively with their team and families using our service.
* The successful candidate will help carry out daily risk assessments to ensure a safe, healthy environment is achieved for all users.
* The applicant will help accompany our bus driver at 2pm and 3pm, collecting children from local schools to transfer them safely to our unit.
Skills and Qualifications
* The successful candidate will be currently studying or hold a qualification meeting at least level 2 in Health & Social Care, Childcare or equivalent is essential.
* Full clearance completed prior to commencing work.
* Holding a safeguarding and first aid certificate is desired but not essential.
