* Lead the day-to-day HR service provision, collaborating with the academy's People Business Partner and Centralized People Support Service.
* Manage the HR Information System and payroll information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic employee records that meet Ofsted standards.
* Process the monthly payroll accurately and submit it on time.
* Maintain an accurate Single Central Register (SCR) in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
* Generate HR letters and correspondence (e.g., variation to contract letters, maternity, holiday entitlement) using standard templates.
* Support disciplinary, grievance, capability, and appeal processes, including organising meetings, preparing packs, taking notes, and issuing outcome letters.
* Monitor and process fixed-term contracts, staff changes, and staff leaving documentation, arranging exit interviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Previous experience in HR, preferably within an educational setting.
2. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Familiarity with payroll systems and data management.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. A valid DBS check is required for this role.
